I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bamburgh Castle with my partner and the beautiful beach that stretches out beneath it, and it was an unforgettable experience! This stunning location offers a perfect blend of history, natural beauty, and tranquillity.
The castle can be seen from anywhere in or around Bamburgh town itself, its an amazing spectacle in the right weather. There is a beach walking spot right behind the castle which is an amazing spot to walk at sunset or during good weather.
Depending on where you park, and the time of year you decide to visit. Parking can vary massively. We visited on a weekday in the off season and managed to easily find free street parking a short 5 minute walk from the castle. However, i can only imaging that parking during the summer season can be a bit of a nightmare. There are car parks around the castle, but most of them range from £4-10 per hour for parking. So beware of the parking there.
I highly recommend a visit to Bamburgh Castle and the beach if you're in the area. The combination of historical intrigue and natural beauty makes it a must-see. I’m already planning my next trip! Absolutely 5 stars!

Give yourself at least a couple of hours to walk around this stunning castle. The views from the castle are amazing.

Stunning castle in a wonderful location.
We were there, primarily, for the Last Kingdom tour. It did not dissapoint!
The tour guide, in full garb from the show, was incredible. Rob (the guide) was wonderfully articulate and held court as a consummate professional. He's a fountain of knowledge, not only about the show, but that period in history. The part of the tour where he separated fact from fiction was particularly interesting and really made the castle come alive for all of us.
And credit where it's due. When we went it was incredibly cold and not once did Rob flinch during the entire tour. Bravo indeed.

Bamburgh Castle.
밤버러 캐슬은 46m 높이의 현무암 바위산 위에 자리잡고 있다. 로마 시대 이전부터 요새로 사용되었다.
해안가에 있어서 적들의 침공이 많았을 것이다.
앞의 해변과의 대조가 인상깊다.
그리고 생각보다 기념품가게 물건들이 괜찮아 보이는 기념품이 많다.
성 입구 맞은편에는 주차장 있다.

What a fantastic castle to visit, it’s very rare in its position being right by a huge beach and amazing dunes.
It’s incredible how well it has been maintained and the views are stunning.
An amazing place to visit with children of all ages due to the beach and dunes.
